I’m a nurse, a mom of two girls, and apparently someone who finds picking tiny bugs and eggs out of hair weirdly satisfying. 😂
The idea for The Nit House Nurse actually came from my own experience dealing with lice at home. I remember the panic, the Googling, and wondering if I was doing any of it right.
Now I get to be the person I wish I’d had then. I’ll come to you, take a good look at what’s actually going on, and help you handle it without the panic, judgment, or feeling like you need to set your entire house on fire. 🤣

Treatment pricing is based on hair length and density, and your price will be confirmed before the comb-out begins. Head checks are available for individuals or the whole household.

Finding something suspicious doesn’t automatically mean lice. Dandruff, hair casts, product buildup and other debris can look surprisingly convincing. The best confirmation is finding a live louse. If you’re not sure what you’re looking at, that’s exactly what a head check is for.

Nope. Please don’t start bagging up every stuffed animal your child has ever touched. 😂 Head lice live on people, not in your house. I’ll walk you through the few simple things that actually need your attention so you can skip the unnecessary cleaning frenzy.

Not necessarily. Treatment is for the people who actually need it. I can check additional household members during the visit so we know who needs treatment and who doesn’t.
